Venkateswarlu (Venkat) Panchagnula, Director
Venkat is currently a Senior Scientist and Assistant Professor at the CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. He obtained his M.Sc. from University of Hyderabad, and Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut, USA (2005). Prior to joining NCL, he worked at PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences (Boston), and CSIRO, Melbourne (Australia). He oversees an independent research group with interests in mass spectrometry, metabolomics, clinical analysis and surface chemistry. He was a Ramalingaswamy Fellow from the Department of Biotechnology, and is the Founding Scientific Director of Center for Applications of Mass Spectrometry, Pune.

Magesh Nandagopal, Director

Magesh works as a Scientist and Technology Manager in NCL Innovations – a division of CSIR’s National Chemical Laboratory, Pune. He manages the large pool of technologies resulting from this lab, works with partners in taking technologies to the market, and is involved in creating technology based start-ups. He has advised over 100 innovators and entrepreneurs in funding, start-up creation, business planning and other issues. Magesh has a PhD (in Polymer Science) and an MBA (in Finance) - both from the University of Connecticut, USA.

Manisha Premnath, Director 
Manisha is the General Manager at Venture Center - a technology business incubator hosted by the CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. She is a Biotechnologist by training and holds a Ph.D. from University of Pune. She was previously a British Council Higher Education Visiting Scholar at the University of Aberdeen, UK. She subsequently carried out postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, UK. She was a Chevening Rolls Royce Science, Innovation, Policy and Leadership Programme (CRISP) Fellow at the Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK (2015). She serves on the Board of Directors of IPCA Laboratories, Seagull Biosolutions, Nayam Innovations and Orthocrafts Innovations.
